When Janey Raymond approached BPD in 2022 to give her consignment store branding a refresh, she simply said “flower power.” At the time, Robert was redesigning the exterior of the building she shares with La Michoacana Ice Cream. Simplifying and unifying the look of both businesses was a challenging task. Then, to redesign Plain Jane’s logo and branding with only “flower power” as the only direction, Robert had his work cut out for him.
The resulting fresh yet retro look of Janey’s bustling store satisfied her desires. Her Plain Jane’s branding evokes both colorful nostalgia and contemporary energy- a great fit for her successful consignment business. Adding to the intriguing imagery, Robert adds custom made holiday decorations to the exterior throughout the year.
